Carved Mug Ceramic

This mug stands out for its intensely Greek character, combining the bright blue of the sea with the white of the Aegean houses. Hand carved using the mishima technique, a surface engraving technique where you place a clay coating of a different colour (porcelain slip) on the carved lines and remove what you don’t need later with a metal tool.

A time-consuming process that makes each handmade piece stand out for its uniqueness.
